Urban Street Mission (USM)

What?

Urban Street Mission (USM) is an outreach ministry that focuses on the needs of less fortunate people in Toronto. We exist to serve God by serving others. There are a large number of people in Toronto who are homeless, who live on the streets and have nothing. This ministry gives us the opportunity to show them that there is someone they can turn to and depend on - Jesus Christ. Through the distribution of lunches, clothing, and bibles, we share His love and compassion. USM offers more than just bread for the physical bodies; we offer the bread of everlasting life through Jesus Christ. It is written in the bible:

"…I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty." - John 6:35 (NIV)

When do we meet?

USM meets every third Saturday of the month, from 9am-2pm.

Where do we meet?

We travel to downtown Toronto, where we split into groups of 4-6 people. We walk the streets of Toronto and cover the north, south, east and west streets of the downtown core, with Nathan Philip Square being our central point.

Jesus called us to "…go and make disciples of all nations".

Toronto is highly populated city, with many people who don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is our duty, as Christians, to GO and share gospel of Jesus Christ. If you are interested in joining us in this ministry, feel free to contact the people to the right.
